Curvely is a personal project by Paulo Barros, based in Lisbon, Portugal. This page explains what happens to your images and the little information collected when you use it.

Your images
When you convert an image, it is sent over an encrypted connection to the Curvely server in Germany. It is processed in memory, the result is sent back to you, and the image is discarded. It is never written to disk, logged or kept. When you change a setting, your browser sends the image again. Recent results are kept only in your browser tab, so switching back to a setting you already tried is instant. Closing the tab clears them. Curvely has no accounts and no database. There is nothing to delete because nothing is stored.
Usage statistics
To understand which features are used, Curvely counts visits and a few actions: a conversion, an SVG or PDF export, a copied SVG or data URI, an error, and roughly how long a conversion took. This runs on Umami, hosted on Curvely's own server, not a third-party analytics service.
- No cookies, and nothing is stored on your device.
- No image data, file names or image sizes are ever sent.
- What is recorded: the page, the referring site, browser, operating system, device type and country.
- Your IP address is used to work out the country and is not stored.
- The numbers are only ever looked at as totals, never per person.
Server logs
Like any website, the server keeps technical logs (time, requested address, IP address, browser) to keep the service running and to stop abuse. They never contain your images and are deleted after 7 days.
Hosting
Curvely is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Your images and all data stay in the EU.
Support payments
The "Support Curvely" link takes you to Stripe. Curvely never sees your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to that payment: stripe.com/privacy

If you write to pb@curvely.app, your message is kept only as long as needed to reply.
Your rights
Server logs and usage statistics are based on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)): keeping the service working and improving it, without building profiles of anyone. You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of any data about you, and object to its use, by writing to pb@curvely.app. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
